i keep hitting myself when i’m under-stimulated or frustrated

i don’t know why, but these days when i’m angry, frustrated, or feel under stimulated i feel the need to hit myself somewhere like on my neck, head, and thigh. it’s like an itch that needs to be scratched and i can’t help but do it in front of other people which feels very embarrassing. does anyone else relate?
