Adderall doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Would taking a break from it help it to work again?

Hope this is allowed here! I’ve been diagnosed adhd since around 2014 around 2016 I started taking adderall (dextroamp salts) My dose has increased once around 4 years ago and I’m at a pretty high daily dose now. It’s always worked great past 8 years!! it now past few months or more feels like it barely does anything almost even makes me super tired some days!!!

I really don’t want to switch meds and go thru the process of trying something different my life is the busiest it’s ever been. My question is has anyone ever done like a detox maybe quit for a month and then come back and it works again? Or over time does it just totally stop working?

Wondering if I have any options to stay on my same medication and dose but get it to start helping again.

I’m realizing it’s not working mostly bc it’s almost like how it was 8 years ago before I was prescribed I can’t get Anything done , I can’t finish anything to completion I half finish everything I have no motivation to complete something I have a million things half done, my job is a lot of me working independently and it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to stay on task let alone to finish a task. I’ve actually been asked at work if things are okay bc I seem distracted there’s nothing going on in my life to cause me to be distracted. I’m always exhausted so tired recently even though I’m sleeping fine. There’s a lot more too but y’all get the point lol what’s some advice ?! Thanks In advance!!
