I seriously cannot deal with this anymore. Almost nothing sticks, I get interested in it for 2-3 days, tell my family all about it, and then quit again. The only hobby that has stuck so far is pottery, reading philosophy/religion stuff, and I occasionally center back to mycology, bird watching, or geography. Do you all have any tips for controlling these fits of hyperfixation? I'm not on meds or anything, and I don't know if they would make it easier or not. For context here's a list of past interests: Piano, Violin, Double Bass, Ocarina, Fishing, 3d printing, 3d modelling, thinking about joining different religions and then finally deciding to be irreligious, Archery (still thinking about this one), baseball, ice hockey, basketball, gym, calisthenics, apex legends, phantom forces (roblox), planet zoo, dinosaurs, and last but not least primatology.
