People who live in a country where ADHD meds are prohibited, how do you do it?

Recently, I was diagnosed with ADHD after years of debating whether I had it or if I was just making it up. However, I couldn't be happy about finally having an answer to my struggles because I found out that the medication I require is prohibited in my country (Azerbaijan). If you are in a similar situation, how do you manage it? My doctor said there is only one allowed ADHD medication, which he prescribed for me (Amatrix 40mg), but he said it's a very slow-working medicine and isn't comparable to pills like Concerta.

ADHD caused me to fall into depression, so I have been struggling with many basic tasks for years now.
