Whenever I see any resource targeted at us or accommodation targeted at educators, everything is around minimizing external distractions. And sure things like break times or extended times help. But a good half of my struggles in my academic and employment life have also been the fact I'm constantly distracted by or hyperfocused on my thoughts UNLESS it is a lecture, meeting, etc. where I am hyperfocused on the topic.
Even though this is primarily a vent and seeking support from those that can relate, I'd also appreciate tips from people who have struggled and coped for internal distractions
