This is something I am curious about. My boyfriend (21) is extremely clumsy, to the point where he hurts himself quite often on accident. I have never met anyone as unbelievably clumsy as him. I think this is due to having issues articulating his body. He has issues with his handwriting, where it is extremely difficult for him to write in general. He gets frustrated because he has to rewrite words constantly.
I also noticed that he tends to trip over his own feet often, and I get anxious whenever we’re near stairs or steps because I’ve seen him trip up and down stairs. I have also noticed he has a hard time gauging his own size. My boyfriend isn’t super tall, he’s about 5’11 and is stocky. He constantly bumps into things, knocking things over on accident, or running into things. I’ve met taller people who do not have issues with gauging the space they take up.
Are coordination issues caused by ADHD? Would medicine help my boyfriend? I get worried he’s going to seriously hurt himself someday.
