Is lower dose vyvanse actually cheaper?

Post Body

I've been on 40mg of vyvanse and it has quite literally changed my life for the better these past two months, that being said both the peak and side effects felt just a little too strong so i've been titrating to 30mg the past couple days and it has done wonders.

My question is since 30mg actually less of the medication if I switched my dose would the capsules actually be cheaper? I see on goodrx that it costs about the same and it seems like the 30mg capsules have more of a shortage than the 40. I'm considering if I should just stick with the 40mg and keep titrating or even bother switching to my script to 30? Do you guys notice any meaningful price differences with dosage?
