I (30) just want to talk about how poor executive decision making function contributed to me messing up a major life decision. For context;
I was planning on going back to school for a master's in public policy (with a very good coop) 2 years ago. However, since I'd started my first full time job at a bank to help pay for school, I decided to stay at my job since I liked the full time money and I felt overwhelmed with moving to another city.
Now I really regret it since I can't find a better paying job as the job market isn't very good and the province I was planning to go to school doubled tuition for out of province students :/
For me, making the choice not to go back to school was the worst thing I did and I think I might be stuck not amounting to much in life because of it. I deeply regret it but it was so overwhelming at the time.
Anyone else struggle with poor executive decision making?
