Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a bit of advice from people who may have been in the same situation as me.
I was diagnosed at 11 and I'm currently 32. Medicated with dex for the past few months. It's really great but I'm still not achieving anything. Used to be on ritalin/concerta as a kid and it was awful.
I worked in various technical sales and business development jobs after studying engineering university. Life was horrible and I can never go back to full-time employment. I had the typical 18 month burnout cycles. The first 6 months doing well, running on adrenaline. Things get boring the next 6 months. The next 6 months after that is full burnout and quitting/getting fired.
I have been trying to get an online business up and running, but I literally can't sit down to do any of the work. I'm always overwhelmed by all the things that I have to do in my life such as chores life admin, social and relationship obligations, exercise, trying to have a life. I feel so intensely frustrated that I'm not succeeding.
How do you manage to get the important things done? I feel like I will never be successful even though it seems like such a simple path to get there.
Do I need a coach? Do I need to go to a workspace? Do I need to become a full on minimalist to avoid distractions? Help!!
