Hey fellow ADHD people! So today I had a practical interview at a restaurant, they had me do a few tasks in the kitchen to test if I were capable for the job or not. I really liked being in that kitchen and being able to experience what goes on, I even got to take an order! But the only thing that's holding me back from persuing a job in the hospitality sector is my APD :(

I had to ask a few times for instructions to be repeated because there was too much going on around me that I couldn't focus, or hear properly. They had music on, oven going, fans going, phone ringing, people talking. It was A LOT!

So I'm wondering if anyone knows any good like devices or earplugs or SOMETHING to help me hear better? And before anyone suggests loop earplugs, I've used them before. I've went through 2 pairs but lost both :( they are a good brand and company and liked using my earbuds while they lasted but I cannot justify spending a good bit of money on a set of tiny earbuds that I will EASILY lose from them again.

Any advice and help is appreciated!
