I've been thinking about this quite a lot. Our brains can't stand boredom so moving from places to places would satisfy the need for novelty. Nomads also get access to lots of beautiful sceneries which means we can get lost in our daydreams more often.
The only resistance I can think of is the fact that we forget things all the time, which would be disastrous when we're on the move. But remember, this is because daily tasks are repetitive and boring so our brains cannot fully concentrate. Let's say the situation involes more risks such as "If you leave this thing, you will lose it forever", I think we will do pretty well - similar do how we hyperfocus close to deadlines.
