I feel like my boss wants me to give 1000% everyday all the time. I'm salaried and not hourly. She's a massive micromanager. How can I produce everything she expects within the 8 hours? I feel like I will need to work at least 10hr shifts to do everything she wants me to do. Idk why I'm having such a hard time st this job compared to others.
Lucky you!! She's like this assignment should have taken u 15 minutes. What did you do the rest of the day?
She said for salary, we will be expected to work some days more than others. She does not beleieve in comp time
I think that's literally what's happening to me right now
I have to meet with her every Friday. And I'm wondering how to do what you're saying. I'm not meeting her weekly goals and I already know she's gonna give me crap and say, "can you help me understand why you can't complete the deliverables" swear she makes me feel so incompetent and slow
Thank you for understanding ❤️❤️❤️ the blame is always on me and she takes absolutely no accountability. I own up to my mistakes. Try to explain my adhd but nothings good enough
Sweeeeeaaarrrrrr. But not good enough reason. Nothing I say is a good enough reason or solution. When I say time escapes me, she just sees me as incompetent and incapable 🙄🙄
What did you mean by accusative? You're spot on! Thank you for commenting.
Here's a snippet of one of her several emails: What I am asking of you is to follow up and follow through on every deliverable and request. When I asked about those two dates weeks ago, the expectation is that you will follow up instead of me having to keep track of everything you do and follow up for you. If you see that I asked a third time last Friday and the dates are for today, October 18, please don't wait until the last minute or for me to ask you a 4th time about this. I hope you can appreciate the situation this puts me in.
She's been on my ass since I started! I started end of may. And not even a month in had HR talking about concerns with my works and red flags
Oooh please say more! The good thing here is the pay and I doubt j will be paid more anywhere else.
Its a job in education with high school and college students
Yeah that seems to be the absolute expectation. There's high expectation and then there's her unrealistic expectations
Literally can't get away with anything because she has something to say about everything
I wish it was the company. But it's literally just her. Everyone else could give a shit what I do lmao
Thank you for your input! I will see how I can squeeze in these strategies. What job were you doing and what are you doing now?
Oh for sure and HR nor the principal seem to give a shit. And all my boss sees is my inability to complete tasks.
No but for real!!!! This is beyond type a she's fucking extreme
What do u mean? I don't understand what you're saying 😅😅🙈🙈🙈
See I like the job itself. It's at a school. So the kids are great. Literally SHE is the issue. I have been looking for work tbh. My previous bosses all were neurodivergent and already had systems in place that I didn't even realize were there. This boss doesn't give a shit either way. Loves waiting time telling me everything I'm not doing than just giving me space to do the work

That's the point. She says and outs together evidence of all the things I'm not doing and shoukd be doing. Like in 8 hours the amount of work she produces would be a ton more than the 5 things she thinks I do. I swear she must think I twiddle my thumbs all day
