Doc said my body metabolizes my meds too fast

I had my doctors appointment today and told my doc that my meds aren’t working as well and are barely keeping me focused throughout the day and he said he’s always had that issue with me since I was a kid and that he’s never had a patient respond to adhd meds like I have and that the dosage I’m on right now is the best that can be done. I’m literally at my wits end and don’t know what to do anymore 🙃
