What is it with (relatively) complex tasks that is putting me off so much? And I don't even mean that complex.
I would rather empty the bottom part of the dishwasher (plates and utensils) 5 TIMES than do the top part, where I have to dry off tupperware tops one by one with the cloth and then find where to put them if it would take me less time to do that than the 5x bottom, so it's not a question of time. It's also not procrastination by fear of failure, because this is kinda hard to fail, but it just engages more brainergy than I am willing to give to solve the stupid task.
Maybe a fear of using up too much brainergy? This is screwing me in so many areas of life though.
This is very in the vein of those posts "I put off a task for 6 months that took me 15 minutes to do and I will learn nothing from this"
BTW I stopped emptying the top part of the dishwasher to make this post
