So my dr wanted to change my prescription from 20mg to 30mg, so I said okay I’ll try that of course. My 20mg script was filled like 12-13 days ago or so. In the past with mg med changes of the same medication, and other controlled substances, it was no issue. I’d just go to the pharmacy and pick it up. A new person idk who’s there (after speaking to pharmacist to see if ready he said) told me I could come pick up my new script if I bring, and surrender, my 20mg prescription to the pharmacy. I’ve never heard of this before. I’d assume that considering I’ve already paid for them, and it’s been open and used;I couldn’t do that. In NY state USA if it matters
