Realizing that I have to regulate my body and emotions like this daily is exhausting…

Post Body

I’m newly diagnosed and I’m getting better at keeping myself grounded/emotions in check, but it is a struggle.

I’ve been masking for years before this, but I’m taking care of myself as of recent. Learning new coping skills and regulation. However, I’m starting to realize how exhausting it is to keep going like this.

Is this a common feeling especially those diagnosed as adults?
