I missed a ton of the Cherry Blossom recipes back in April. I finally caved and set my clock back to give myself another shot at it and now I have the full set of recipes! I know there are plenty of people out there who didn't get the recipes/hadn't started then and before I move myself back to July, I wanted to offer people the opportunity to come catch Cherry Blossom petals on my island. If you have the recipes and just need to catch some petals, that's fine. BUT if you don't have the recipes you need, bring me the materials once you have them, tell me what you want via in-game chat, and I'll make it for you right there. I have a crafting area set up right next to Resident Services that should work for this.

The Cherry Blossom recipes are as follows:

Cherry-blossom pond stone: 3x CB Petals 10x Stone

Cherry-blossom-petal pile: 5x CB Petals

Cherry-blossom bonsai: 6x CB Petals 2x Hardwood 3x Clump of Weeds 3x Clay

Cherry-blossom branches: 8x CB Petals 4x Tree Branch 5x Clay

Outdoor picnic set: 10x CB Petals

Blossom-viewing lamp: 6x CB Petals 4x Hardwood

Cherry-blossom clock: 5x CB Petals 1x Iron nugget

Cherry-blossom-trees wall: 10x CB Petals 5x Hardwood

Sakura-wood wall: 5x CB Petals 10x Wood

Cherry-blossom flooring: 10x CB Petals 20x Clump of Weeds

Sakura-wood flooring: 5x CB Petals 10x Wood

Cherry-blossom umbrella: 7x CB Petals

Cherry-blossom pochette: 6x CB Petals

Cherry-blossom wand: 3x CB Petals 3x Star Fragment

You can catch the petals on my island, of course, but any additional materials you'll need to bring yourself from your own island. Obviously you should also bring a net or money to buy one from my Nook's.

A quick sidenote: Other services available on my island today (feel free to use them if you come for cherry blossoms) include Saharah (Black-design kitchen mat, Natural wood-deck rug, Blue Persian rug, Dig-site flooring, and either Western Vista or Future-Tech wall (I don't remember which was from the tickets)), unlimited books on sale at Nook's and the ability to catalog all the Simple Panels (I have them set up behind my crafting area in the pool area--if you need them, pick them up then drop them again so others can use it as well).

I have no idea a) how popular this will be and b) how long it will take people to catch the petals they need so please be patient. I may need to adjust the rules here on the fly as well. There's no need to pay or tip, but I'll accept it if you want to. If you feel like contributing in some other way to the development of my island, there are a bunch of roses that could use water on the left side of my island below the tiered villager neighborhood, and a big patch of black roses behind the shopping plaza.

Edit 1: Ok, I'm starting Round 2 of people! What I learned from Round 1 is that spawns of petals seem really high when I'm wandering around my island but actually end up being pretty low when there are a bunch of people looking for them. I'm going to set the clock forward to April 8th, which I think has more spawns--that means we'll lose access to Saharah and the books. Sorry about that! Hopefully it will increase petal spawns though.

I'm also going to offer to help you meet your petal quota if you're having a hard time finding them. Please only use sparingly since I only have so many petals saved, but I'll contribute to your petal supply if you ask in order to move people through a bit more quickly. Again, I only have so many petals, so if you're willing, it's still better to spend some time looking for them yourself.

Edit 2: I'm on to Round 3! I'm not sure the spawn rate actually increased but I'm going to assume it's fine and keep it on this day. It looks like I'll be doing a Round 4 as well, probably around 3:45pm or 4pm EST based on the last few rounds

Edit 3: The "Round" setup has fallen apart slightly. I'm now just shooting the next person on the list a chat message when a slot opens up (I'm hosting 3-4 people at a time so that finding the petals isn't next to impossible). If I haven't gotten to you yet, please just keep an eye on your chat messages! I'm going to try very hard to get to everyone who comments before I close it down.
