Sooo my score came back for the July 16 ACT and it was not what I expected...I generally got 31-33 on my past ACT practice tests and even analyzed them and did everything the "right" way. Does anyone have advice to improve? Need help in English, reading, and science
For all three, learn to eliminate alternatives. Take more timed practice tests.
English: Besides making sure you know your grammar and punctuation, realize that if NO CHANGE sounds OK, it is likely the answer.
Reading: Read first and last paragraphs in detail and skim through the rest. Read the question and go back to the passage. This helps a bit with time.
Science: Start with the question, not the passage. Use your pencil. Underline the key parts of the question. Map data points on figures and tables.
Good luck!
