Is it worth coming back to this game?

I haven’t touched PocketCamp for about 2 1/2 years and I remember it being fun and invested some time into it. Yet I also remember running out space to store things, my items not selling and there was so much repetitiveness since there was not a lot of things to do without investing real money into it. Now that time has passed I’m wondering if the game has gotten more interesting!
