Hello everyone! It’s been about 2 weeks since I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus. Was just told by my doctor to abandon the knee immobilizer and focus on walking and getting my leg straighten. Right now he says he would recommend that I save my PT for post-op cause my insurance covers only a certain number of sessions and do some prehab exercises to get my leg to straighten by myself rather than see a PT. This is in order to get the surgery, I have a follow up in two weeks to hopefully schedule the surgery. Right now it’s hard to walk without limping and my knee hurts when I try to bend it. Been following RICE and taking Aleve. What are some prehab exercises I can do on my own and how many sets/reps should I do? Thanks everyone and good luck to anyone who’s currently on their recovery journey!
Hey! You’re so kind. Would you be able to dm it to me too?
