I had my acl injury while playing football, that was in 2009, for so many years I did not fix it as I thought I am not a professional athlete nor play a lot of sports. But I used to be an active guy. In 2019 I tripped while running and injured my same knee, did MRI and was ready for reconstruct in early 2020 and Covid happened, finally after these many years, I have my surgery schedule for tomorrow and hoping for the best. Not sure what the recovery would look like but the surgeon is optimistic that I should be back to regular gym and may be running in 4-6 months.
