Hi all, I sent this message to my PT this morning, but I'm also asking you all for advice as my PT may not get back to me today. The 'walking' is me putting 20% weight on my surgery leg- right leg- and 'walking' with my crutches.
---'>Good morning, post PT yesterday I completed the exercises in the afternoon & evening. I wasn't able to "practice walking" much because of shooting pain in my calf/tightness.
Around 830 last night my knee swelled up like crazy and I had a 45 min episode of crying/yelling in intense pain. Stabbing on top of knee cap and the underneath right part (one of the meniscus repair areas). Pain is still intense this morning 6.5/10, worse if I get up. Advice? Have ice on it. Scared to try exercises.
Not sure what to do. Maybe very gently try my PT exercise regimen today? Even just sitting here in my medical lift chair with ice I am in quite major discomfort. Thank you in advance. I had ACL reconstruction (cadaver) with meniscus repair in 4 places.
