I don’t believe in “channels”. I think the idea privileges the idea that somehow the “channeling” process is not an active creative collaboration. It also reinforces the idea that channeled material can or should be the word of god and then brings up arguments about consistency. Further, just look around the spiritual marketplace and observe how regularly people be selling their spirituality. I personally think they’d be better served selling their ART rather than duping people into believing they have sone sort of spiritual authority or worse, the word of god, a concept that has been used for several thousand years by these very Christian’s to wage genocide and colonization.

At best a “channel” is still filtering through the limitations of their own nervous system. Helen was born in a patriarchal genocidal society living with all the conditioning of someone born in the 40s. Maybe she began unpacking some of this but it’s still clear in a great deal of what she wrote. If Helen were to be equally in touch with her own inner creative process and “channeling” today I suspect it would take on the shape and questions of our time and culture, perhaps addressing questions that weren’t available for Helen to ask at that time such as about gender, race, colonization and such.

Because it came through Helen’s conditioned mind it will always be limited to being a human creation, filtered through its age and locale. Their is nothing wrong with this nor does it diminish its value, it merely contextual uses it as born of a time and place that is not static. Also this frees it up to be human and have error and includes our need to think critically about it as well.

I’ve received deep spiritual understanding through putting into practice Helen and her guides ideas about miracles, and that also includes releasing my attachment to it being THE WAY THE TRUTH TGE LIGHT and all that. But I’ve done so loving this path and I’m not out here selling it (Gary) or stealing peoples life’s savings (David Hoffmeister) or starting a cult (Jayem). I’m just piece by piece praying to extend miracles through the spirit to all my relations. Something my people have done for thousands of years before Christian’s showed up here with there word of god and tgeir genocide and dehumanization.

I always wonder, Jesus allegedly came to Helen in NYC. But from an indigenous perspective these are the children of settler colonists receiving the teachings on stolen land, over the bones of the original people. Why didn’t Jesus ever mention this cognitive dissonance. It’s one of the greatest cognitive dissonances in the psyche of those he allegedly came to. You’d think if he was so evolved he’d have something to say about all this, not just “the worlds not real so live laugh love your way through genocide”
