Is there a biography of Schucman somewhere that might indicate her exposure to metaphysics and non-dual philosophy prior to the bringing forth of ACIM?
I am a longtime reader and listener to Krishnamurti. When I read ACIM I perceive the same truth coming through as Krishnamurti. This is not just a convergence of all religious teachings, I am convinced that the same languge framework is going in - questioning of conditioning and the opening to love through rejecting perceptions. Helen Schucman was definitely channeling a true teaching, I am not trying to devalue that. But I am interested if anyone know any evidence of Helen Schucman's studies and learning and reading before channeling ACIM; Krishnamurti was very popular in the late 60s when ACIM was received. Is there anyone out there who might have some ideas about this - Krishnamurti's influence on Schucman?
Or perhaps a different way of saying it, that the message of the source of ACIM was also at work in Krishnamurti and influened Schucman through her reading Krishnamurti?
Is there a biography of Schucman somewhere that might indicate her exposure to metaphysics and non-dual philosophy prior to the bringing forth of ACIM?
Thanks!
