I remember browsing ABTF some time ago, looking for others who have the same bra fit problem I have.

In every brand and size I have ever tried on, I tend to end up with breasts that look like they've kind of collapsed, and all they do is squash or fall toward the center of the bra, in between the cups. Also, I end up with gaps near my arm pits. I have gone up and down in both band and cup, and the problem remains. When I'm laying n my side, it is a thousand times worse. I found the perfect post on ABTF, and it had photos of this very fit issue from multiple angles. And of course I can't find it again.

So then I started trying balconette bras (not to be confused with demi-cup bras). They fit better, but they tend to give quad-boob. So at this point, I have just about given up on trying to find a bra that truly fits, and I avoid bra shopping whenever possible, because it makes me want to angry cry for the rest of my life. The closest thing I have found to a bra that fits is Lane Bryant's Cooling Bra in Georgia Dot. It's almost trying to be a balconette, and I think what also helps is the vertical seaming on the cups. I still experience the same fit issue, but not as bad.

So then I had another idea: what if I tried on a balconnette bra in a sister size? What if I tried on a true balconette with a larger cup size and a smaller band size? Would that work?

When I have the money for it, I plan on embarking on one last bra shopping attempt:

1. Locate a true balconette bra. I know that some brands claim that a bra is a balconette when it is not. Also, some bras are demi-cup bras, not balconettes. Vertical cup seaming is also a plus. I could return to Lane Bryant, and I have read on ABTF that the Curvy Kate Tease Me might work.
   
2. Try on said balconette bra in a sister size - larger cup and smaller band.

So, could this potentially work?
