What is the abtf calculator formula?

How does the abtf calculator come up with its size recommendation? I know the main driver is the standing bust minus the snug underbust, where each inch of difference is a size. But how do the other numbers fit in?
And what does it mean that my lying (supine) bust is an inch less than my standing bust?
Sorry if this is all laid out somewhere and I missed it!
