Hey all, I have an idea for a crib. I was shopping amazon for a new bed frame and I came across this canopy bed… https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09Y1T94R1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then I thought what if I got some heavy weight mesh net fabric like this… https://www.amazon.com/Phifertex-Standard-Outdoor-Spruce-Fabric/dp/B094WZ4H3C?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1
I think if I reinforce the canopy frame I could sew 3 fixed wall panels and then make a fold up panel with some sort of locking mechanism. And hopefully the finished crib would look a lot like one of those mesh playpens they make.
Only thing I haven’t worked out is the openable side and locking mechanism.
