Hi,
So my partner and I are trying to figure out bottle feeding, and it's pretty awkward. We could use some help figuring out how positioning is supposed to work, considering we're the same size haha. Well, okay he's maybe a few inches taller. Otherwise I'm an average/healthy weight, so no special size concerns there.
I'd thought I could just lie back but it's a bit much to rest my shoulders on their arm, but then my head wants to lop back over their legs...that hurts, and ofc they can't lift/support my head unless they shrug their shoulders or lift/pivot their arms out.
Alternatively I go the other way and lay less across their lap but then because their arms are somewhat lanky it's awkward arms time for them to hold the bottle in a way that it can reach the face. 😅
So we tried with my head on their arm but with a pillow for support and that...kinda...worked? But I dunno, this feels really awkard, like we're not quite doing it right.
Anyone who has done this before, how do you do it? Do you have an illustration of positions etc? Do y'all that manage to do this need to use pillows etc to make it work? Is that normal?
