I told my partner and I think they think less of me

I told my parter about liking this sort of stuff and they were visibly disgusted. I felt like it was something I had to tell then even if it's not something I look at often (I've never done it myself). They told me that they thought it was gross and that it was fetishising children and that we shouldn't talk for a couple of days. We've never gone through anything like this and I'm worried that they'll never think of me the same. I'm not sure what to do.
Edit: I waited to talk and they broke up with me.
