Opinion on tykables/ABU rivalry
Post Body

This might be an unpopular opinion but I think that Tykables is becoming more of a knock off of ABU. In terms of the designs for the two new dino diapers both announced ABU looks outstanding while tykables look rather meh especially with the yellow wings. That with the fact that tykables, while being a competitive move, decided to do their announcement the day before ABU was supposed to do theirs without any prior warning. I know the two companies must have some bad blood from their run ins in the past but I feel like they (namely one particular party in my opinion) needs to move on and move forward and divide and conquer our wallets with different and exciting products and designs rather than copy each other and increase their competition unnecessarily. I'm not an expert in these areas but this is just my take on the situation.

Edit: I think people misunderstood what I'm saying. I am all for competition but healthy competition. Copying each other in the slightest is not healthy competition. Having two dino diapers come out at the same time splits people and their between the two and compromises the sales of both at least in the short run when they are released at the same time. I'd rather one company wait to release their diaper when the hype for one has died down or at least release something different so that people have a variety of choice rather than which one they think looks better. It might also be my own opinion that we need more diversity in design choices in terms of theme and color but to me it just seems like tykables is trying to undercut ABU in any way they can after the issues they had in the past.
