Iâm medically incontinent, wear 24/7 and have a very open relationship with my extended family and friends about my wearing - theyâre unaware of the ABDL aspect, but thereâs no need for me to be super super discreet as they all know and accept my medical issues.
Anyway, during a large family get together this Christmas conversation turned to an elderly grandmother in the family who has got progressive dementia, has become incontinent and is in a care home. At the moment, the family are buying Tena pants from the supermarket and they keep leaking several times a day.
During the conversation my mother in law turns to me and asks ââŚ.and what would you recommend given that youâre probably a bit of an expertâ.
This was in front of 10 family members who just continued eating/drinking/watching TV without batting an eyelidâŚ.I recommended some Tena or Abena Slips and even sent my MIL an Amazon link.
A few minutes later whilst opening a bottle of wine in the kitchen, my sister in law (who is late 30s) approached me and raised that one of their teenager kids is bedwetting since starting secondary school in September and Drynites arenât enough and asked what I used when I was younger. Another Amazon link sent to her too lol!
This feels like massive acceptance and also itâs nice to know those close to me can lean on me for support in the same way I do with them.
