Did positive endorsement of nappies by family influence your ABDL journey?
Post Body

I discovered the ABDL community after a turbulent adolescence of transitioning from Drynites as an occasional (and expected) bedwetter to somebody who became fully incontinent aged 16 following severe health issues which almost killed me.

As part of my recovery, there were appointments with a specialist continence team who discussed treatment options….but essentially this resulted in there being a conversation between the nurse, my mum and I about incontinence pads. I came away from this appointment with a prescription for 5 Tena Slip maxi’s a day. I remember coming away from that appointment wearing one that I tried for sizing - it was a bizarre experience as it felt so normal and accepted. Even when we got home and it was sogged, I changed it and binned it and then went and put a fresh one on as if nothing had happened.

A few days later, several cases turned up at our family home and that was kinda it - parents and siblings knew I needed them and it was just accepted. My friends slowly began to discover, but it was never an issue - again, having been on the brink of death, they were grateful to still have me and nappies were a pretty minor thing in the bigger picture.

I then fell into the ABDL community in a very confident and unashamed way as those around me knew - I obviously don’t openly promote my ABDL side other than with my partner and some friends, but having a community of friends/family around me who know I have to wear really gives me a good foundation.
