Question for the ABDL veterans here

Is is wise to mess a diaper if a person has some stomache issue and bad diahrea even though there is little stool incontinence normally but no bladder control? Is it just better to use it that way or is it reccomended to use the toiled for stool still?
Are there any issues with? Any recommendations?
