How important is ABDL to you in relationships

Been considering this more and more lately after reading “You’re not broken”. Do you fundamentally need a level of involvement from your partner with ABDL or is it just a nice to have? If it is needed then you’re cutting out a big portion of potential people so it definitely seems important to have an answer to. Especially when you lean towards it being more of a sexual desire it can seem very important at times and irrelevant at others.
