Just simply some venting going on… feel free to ignore:
I get sizing disparities… the fashion world (my professional world) is littered with it, especially in women’s clothing… HOWEVER, why is it I can fit into an XL Goodnite (a product literally designed for the body of a CHILD) but a medium size ABU (a product designed specifically FOR ADULTS) is like trying to squeeze into a newborn diaper. Not to mention… trying on a large from ABU is barely larger than the mediums of most other companies.
What kind of body shaming, disordered eating, ultra skinny is god… bullshit is this?!?! (ETA- You may not agree that these things are connected, but my education in marketing psychology says… even if not intentional… these things are connected. Being the brand that people have to buy larger to get the same sizing they get from other brands is based on these societal issues, even if you didn’t mean it to be. If I can buy XL Goodnites, and medium from Trest, Bambino, MegaMax, and Tykables… but have to buy a large from you… you are part of the societal problem.)
Rant over… thank you for coming to my teddy bear talk!!!
