When it comes to wearing out and about or at work, I'm always conscious of waistband peeking. I'm fairly tall and it's hard to find t-shirts that are extra long, so I have to be careful if I bend over.
Onesies are nice, but they're so expensive and to wear everyday I really need 5 . $250 for quality ones, and then I still can't wear any of my other shirts.
Here's my idea: an inexpensive tank top undershirt with a simple, low-profile strap between the legs to keep the waist from riding up. A couple of snaps on the front secure the strap. Works great in the winter, maybe not as well on the hottest days of summer.
Here's my prototype. I'm thinking I could make these and sell them for $15/each or 4/$50. I don't see much else like it on the market for this price. I would find a better matching fabric (and thread) for the strap, this is just what I had laying around/spooled up.
An inexpensive and flexible undergarment for the daily wearer.
