Safety question regarding toilet water

I have a vagina and I'm in the southwest USA. We have hard water that you can still drink from the tap but it's not the best lol.
Partner wants me to put some toilet water in my diaper. Do I need to be concerned about any health stuff with that? I'm in an apartment, no idea if the water is the same water that I shower with. I don't know anything any plumbing
