Because of this sub I bought Pretend Agains while I was reading the post about them because they are adorable. At $130 a case they are average price for premium diapers. Honestly they knocked these out of the park and we finally have a quality cloth backed diaper. I have yet to try all premium cloth backed diapers but Pretend Agains answered all my peeves that prevented me from buying said cloth like products other than pullups. On the outside the print is cute animals and you can Google them to see the pattern and they come with stars for a wetness indicator. As an awesome bonus the stars disappear and they leave blue water drops to indicate wetness. They are cloth backed hook and loop taped diapers and the tapes are very strong. Upon opening up the diaper you'll find it to be a very strong and thick shell that does seem to be 2 parts, both the cloth like outer and poly inner core. The shell again is very strong and doesn't stretch out and loosen or rip. The leak guards are teal and very tall with a blue splash zone. It's very babyish. The padding itself is very thick and has a very good pulp to sap ratio (maybe a little too much sap). The core itself doesn't clump oddly when wet and it happily moves enough to tuck and shape the diaper while putting it on. The capacity of these bad boys are huge. I only needed 1 per 24 hours granted I got my case last Thursday so only a weekend of testing so far. I will not be wearing these during the work week because I can't fill them in 13 hours drinking normal fluids. I needed to change my butt before capacity issues because I was becoming too aromatic yet I felt comfortably dry and no rashes. At about $3 a pop they are a bit expensive but I know I'll save some money especially if I really only need 1 maybe 2 a day for weekend days as opposed to 3 or 4 Bambino's. Oh and the box has 3 large enough purple stars that have capital letters. Idk what they stand for but they remind me of Toys r Us stars but nothing identifiable. Overall I'd give these a strong 8 out of 10 for having them not even a week and I'd say Pretend Agains are definitely worth trying out.
