Tips for holding in bananas

Hi everyone,
Sorry to put another banana trick question on here, but does anyone have any tips for holding them once they’re in? I’ve done the trick a couple of times recently and once I got the last piece of banana in, I had to go NOW. I tried putting in a plug one of the times, but that just made me even more desperate.
So does anybody have any thoughts or tips on how to help hold them longer? I want to last a little longer to help build the excitement. lol
