How to get over the fear?

How do I get over the fear of being able to find someone who understands my fetish/kink? I just have had bad experiences with previous romantic partners who haven't understood how important how this is for me.
(I also have a medical issue & I need to be wearing more than I do). Any advice is appreciated.
