Hi,
I've been recently assigned to create an in-house and in-person 40-hour training for my company. I have never done one before, but this is an exciting opportunity to do so as well as refamiliarize myself with the content to become even more fluent. I already have my 8-hour supervision training certificate and I've been a BCBA for 2 years and 2 months. I work with the adult population, and I want to target the training to working with adults but at this point, I am just trying to create an outline to start.
I am aware that there is the RBT 40-HOUR TRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND CURRICULUM OUTLINE on the BACB website, but I also wanted to know if anyone would recommend using the RBT Task List order or has feedback on why that isn't ideal. I'd also appreciate any other type of recommendations.
For those that have experience creating a 40-hour training or have had a 40-hour training that worked very well for them, what order did you teach/learn the material?
Finally. I am trying to create the 40-hour training within 2 months, is that too ambitious?
Thank you everyone, I look forward to your responses.
