I ultimately want to work in a school setting for the schedule perks and summers off (ideally). If you're contracted, what do you do during the summers or do you follow the same school schedule even though you're not employed by the school?
What are the pros and cons?
What companies in NJ contract to schools?
Are you contacted for 40 hours and if not what do you do for your company the other time?
Background: I was a sped teacher for 4 years and have been in a school setting for the prior 8 years. I'm a first time BCBA and after getting experience I want to shift my path into the schools.
