First time conducting parent training
Post Body

I'm a brand new BCBA and starting my parent COLLABORATION in 2 weeks with their preschool aged children. What should I expect the during my first meeting and the ones thereafter? I've already been asked to conduct some in the community which is fine. I will be seeing them once every 6 weeks (1 family a week) so my thought it that at this first meeting I should have something to provide parents with.

My concern is that I've "known" their children for 15 days so I'm still learning strategies to help them in school, let alone at home with the parents right there watching me. I'm feeling very anxious about it- I don't want to look like I don't know what I'm doing!
