Low light picture profiles?

It seems everyone is shooting in slog3 10 bit with this camera. I know it used to sort of be a rule that SLog is a no go for low light shooting, is this still the case? Should I use a cine profile at night? Or does 10 bit negate the noise issues. Just received my camera yesterday so will try to do some more tests soon too.
