/u/worldsocold34 noted that it was unclear which free text responses would be shared with mentors. As such, I have updated section 5 with the appropriate changes. If you would like to change your responses based on this new information, we will allow the mentee application to be edited until the end of cycle 1. The free response questions are noted below:

Free-text question (100 words): Please briefly tell us why your university top choice is your top choice. If you don't know where you want to apply, tell us what kind of student you are. Do not feel that you must use the entire word limit.

Free-text question (200 words): What qualities and experiences would you hope to have in a mentor? Do not feel that you must use the entire word limit.

Free-text question (200 words): What are you interested in studying in university? Why? If you aren’t sure yet, that’s okay: tell us you’re undecided and tell us about one subject you enjoy studying. Do not feel that you must use the entire word limit.

Free-text question (300 words): Briefly introduce yourself and your objectives to your prospective mentor. This message will be shared with potential mentors. Do not feel that you must use the entire word limit.
