Just watched Talk to Me and I usually love A24 films but this one while shot well, written well and acting was good. I personally have no compassion for characters who put themselves in the situation to mess with supernatural things by choice even though they knew the story of Dockett. So after a while with the film I honestly got more annoyed by the characters than anything else.
Cults you didn’t see coming or who took you captive, serial killer, cannibalil family who targets you because of circumstances beyond your control, all of these I can find some compassion for the victims because they didn’t expect that to happen to them. They didn’t purposefully or willingly put themselves in that situation.
Does anyone else feel the same way? What were yalls thoughts on it. Just curious to hear others thoughts!
