I'm extremely excited for next week's episode. We're doing edits on it right now, and I'm working closely with Martin, our sound designer hired earlier this year (who is amazing), and it's been a real joy.

Today was our first major review of the composite script sound and seriously, Martin is a creative wizard -- his sense of timing, humor, attention to detail, it's just astonishing, and I'm learning a lot from him.

We've had producers, editors, even a composer, but having a dedicated sound designer is new -- and with his level of skill in the mix, it feels (IMHO) like a serious leveling up in terms of the show's range of production potential.

In any case: this one will be extremely nerdy, a bit whimsical, and the sound design is really bringing it to life. So I'm getting ahead of myself (it'll be another week) but I hope y'all enjoy this one, slated for next Tuesday.
