Hey all,

Looks like I'll be starting with my county in the next few weeks. I have worked in a call centre years ago but have been primarily in health care the last few years. HR let me know that while waiting on the rest of my cohort to complete their requirements we will be sitting on the floor until our classroom training begins. I was also informed that due to staffing, we are only allowed to leave the floor to toilet and otherwise eat and drink at the desk (10 hr shifts).

I plan to bring easy snacks and drinks, a notebook, and wear comfortable but office appropriate clothes.

1) What other items should I bring?

2) What kind of notes should I take? Like What are important things to listen and watch for?

3) Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
