One of the Mods has decided that after almost 4 months of weekly posts the Custom Retro TV blocks are pirated material and are no longer allowed in the 90sCartoon Subreddit.

Allow me to take a minute to remind everyone that these blocks were sourced from YouTube primarily. Every clip in every block can be found on free use sites such as YouTube or Archive.org.

The blocks will no longer be posted here but i would challenge that or any Mod for this sub to tell me why, and why now?? I was checking in when i started posting the blocks to make sure they were ok to post and was never once told not to. Because i am using open source formats to get the clips they are not any more pirated than YouTube clips posted all over this sub. Why the change? Why are they bad now??? I hope I get the chance to find out....

UPDATE!!! All future blocks will now be posted to the NEW r/RetroTVRevival subreddit. See you there!!

UPDATE UPDATE!!! I have had a conversation with members of the Mod team as well as the Mod who took action and everything is RESOLVED! The blocks are welcome to stay and this was all a misunderstanding. As a sign of good faith i will be collaborating with that Mod on a Special Custom Block that will release THIS THURSDAY!
