SN30 Pro+ not turning on with battery pack

My controller has stopped turning on with the battery pack. It still works with AAs or if I plug it in directly to my computer, and there have been a couple times when I've managed to somehow get it on with the battery pack, but I'm not sure what I did differently those times. It started not too long after a firmware update, but I'm not 100% sure if that's what caused it. I've tried multiple times to fix it through another firmware update and it hasn't seemed to help. When I have gotten in to connect to my switch, it said the battery was charged, and when I plug it in, the charge light turns off pretty quickly.
